Tyrese Gibson Wanted In Atlanta Georgia After Dogs Kill Neighbor's Dog; Fulton County Issues Warrant

Fulton County officials have issued an animal cruelty warrant for actor and singer Tyrese Gibson after one of his dogs fatally attacked a neighbor’s pet.
Authorities say the incident happened on Sept. 18, when a neighbor in Buckhead’s Tuxedo Court neighborhood reported that one of Gibson’s four Cane Corsos was roaming freely and killed their 5-year-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.
Surveillance footage also showed the dogs scratching at a door across the street shortly before the fatal attack. According to officials, Gibson’s dogs had previously been reported running loose at least five times, and he had received multiple warnings.
On Sept. 22, Gibson initially told officers he would surrender the dogs, but later asked for more time to decide. When police returned later that day with a search warrant, both Gibson and the dogs were gone.
“Pet ownership is a responsibility that is not to be taken lightly. Those who allow their dogs to roam neighborhoods unrestrained will face serious consequences,” said Robb Pitts, chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.
This remains an active investigation.
