iCarly was a staple in most homes throughout the 2000’s, with Carly and Spencer Shay, Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson making us laugh until we’re crying. With the iCarly revival coming up, you might find it interesting to know what was actually going on behind the scenes of your favourite Nickelodeon show.

Since the iCarly finale, the iCarly actors have opened up about some funny, and sometimes shocking things that happened on set. In an interview, Jennette McCurdy talked about actually getting sick from some of the outrageous food she was forced to eat as Sam.

Nathan Kress, unlike his character Freddie, actually has a much clearer mind when it comes to the love triangle between the main trio. According to him, the final kiss between Freddie and Carly was nothing but a friendly thing. Maybe it’s because he considers his co-star, Miranda Cosgrove, a sister, or maybe he just sees deeper into Freddie’s mind than most of us.

The iCarly cast was forbidden from improvising on set. Spencer actor, Jerry Trainor, found this more difficult than his co-stars, considering he’s trained in comedy improv.
