The DRURY LANE PUB at the Heart of THEATRE LAND and COVENT GARDEN Nell of Old Drury #pubcrawl

Perfectly placed for pre- or post-show drinks, this small, cosy pub was licenced in 1835 as the Sir John Falstaff. It was renamed in the 1960’s after Eleanor Gwyn, who was better known as ‘‘Nell” and was notable as the mistress of King Charles II.

It is rumoured that there is a tunnel between the pub and the theatre.
