Since the majority of the upcoming C86 album by Undead Corp has vocals by these two, thought I should give you a taste of what they're like. Sawaken pretty much screams his heart out, while Mie goes for a more opera-ish approach to her singing, methinks.

Ok. I'm going to clarify this here, because this song seems to be the main point of comparison people use when talking about UNDEAD CORPORATION's music, and it's getting ridiculous.

Before their original CDs, UNDEAD CORP. wasn't an actual band, but Pinetree's circle that released metal arranges of Touhou Project. Before 2012, you could divide their music into 3 to 4 different styles: Death Metal alongside Shiren from Unlucky Morpheus, Metalcore alongside Akemi and Dougen Kubota, and Folk Metal alongside known guest vocalists (so they already did "tame" music in comparison to most of their output, and that was their second album); their fourth style is arguably a mix of the first and the last, being (Melodic at times?) Death Metal with guest vocalists (or with Dougen) which is what all their doujin albums have been since 2015 onwards.

Even then, the fact that 一撃 still had Akemi&Dougen songs, the release of O.D., and the release of tracks of the same metalcore/Loud Rock style in other albums (see: Haul me up, END NEVER END, Hide & Seek, and Pushing you away [which to be fair, was a Linkin Park reference]) shows that they've been making that kind of music for a while, and we could even go back to their second album and use the unnamed track that would eventually become "Get Mine" in O.D.

The point is, UNDEAD CORPORATION is still releasing heavy music as a circle practically every year, but apparently they can't be a band that releases metalcore albums every couple of years? ... C'mon.

TL;DR: Undead Corporation's metalcore music is good and can coexist with their heavy music.
