The truth is, we fell in love in 3 days and this is how I knew she was right for me. I know that when it comes to love, there isn't a formula. I also know that people are different with different experiences and not everyone will have the same experience when it comes to falling in love or finding the right person for you.

But, this is my love story and how I knew she (Kara) was right for me.

I've dated great women over the course of my life and I would always find myself in this spot (usually about 6 months in) of trying to figure it out in my head if this person was right or not right for me. That back and forth and trying to logically ascend into a place that only your heart knows the answer is downright draining.

So, a while back ago, I heard someone pose a question that rocked me. And, this is the very question that I've used in relationships to determine if the girl I was dating at the time was right for me. It's also the question that I asked myself and how I knew she (Kara) was right for me.

The truth is, it could have probably worked out with a couple of girls that I dated in the past, but asking this question made me realize that staying in the relationship was actually selfish. Not only was I keeping her from experiencing the deep love she was worthy of, but I was keeping myself from experiencing it, too.
