ASH WALKING STICK carving

Good afternoon, I recently had the chance to carve another walking stick for a friend of mine. Luckily I had access to an ASH tree that came down locally and got a relatively straight branch. This walking stick was a bit taller than most as my friend is 6ft 3" so I made it a bit taller than my usual sticks. Removed the bark, sanded it with a combination of random orbital sander and hand sanding from 80 to 320grit. The stick was sealed with 3 coats of polyurethane and the bottom was with a coating of Plastidip (a liquid rubber). The handle was a leather wrap. It came out great and enjoyed the process. Tough wood to carve so a Dremel or rotary tool definitely helps.
