Living History with Walter Mears

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza presented an interview between Walter Mears, a Pulitzer Prize-winning political reporter, and Associate Curator Stephen Fagin. Mears worked for the Associated Press for more than 40 years and covered every presidential election from 1960 to 2000. He was awarded the 1977 Pulitzer Prize in National Reporting for his coverage of the 1976 presidential campaign. He is the author of two books, "Deadlines Past: Forty Years of Political Campaigning: A Reporter's Story (2003)" and "The Kennedy Brothers: A Legacy in Photographs (2009)."

This presentation took place at the Museum on September 13, 2013 as part of the 50th anniversary Living History Series.
