Fresh Start and Renewal: Tet (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) is a time for fresh starts and cleansing negativity from the past year. By giving District 1 a thorough wash, the city authorities aim to create a clean and pleasant environment for residents and visitors to welcome the new year. It symbolizes washing away bad luck and ushering in a year of hope and prosperity.
