In this video I am happy to show you exactly what you need to make a vision board work!

You will need magazines, you will also need glue and I didn’t bring it up here but you're going to need some scissors. I also use journals, this journal is the Learn More Earn More Journal by Myleik Teele, and I love it. You also want to print out pictures that sort of mean something to you. I printed out a couple of pictures that mean something to me, this year I'm learning French I'm very excited about it. Then you're going to want your own poster board. I want to share one more thing with you guys. So when people are sitting down to make vision boards, I talk to you about the number one reason your vision board doesn't work and that's because you don't set state expectations. But another reason why people’s vision boards don't work is because they don't actually know how to properly ask and there is a live workshop that I do you called ask, believe, receive where I go into a deep dive of how you ask, how do you believe and how do you receive and for those of you who are on my YouTube channel I just want to go over the ask part really quick. So first of all think about why like the president of the United States of America came up to you and was like hey what do you want your mind in your mind you would think about certain things based on the person who's asking you what you want. If your favourite celebrity came up to you and said hey what do you want, it would probably be something a little bit different than the president of United States of America same still like is if I came up to you and I say hey what do you want. Some of you who know me you will be able to answer that question but I can almost guarantee that me asking you your favourite celebrity asking you and the president United States of America asking you what you want would potentially yield different answers and the reason why you're different answers is because the frame of what this person can do for you versus this person versus this person shapes the way that you ask for things. And so sometimes when we're sitting down to create our vision board and we're thinking OK what do I want I'm going to look at this magazine, when I have looked into this magazine I think I want my dream home and this is what my dream home looks like what happens is that there is no parameter on it and so you're dreaming about a home that truly is your dream home. But maybe it's not the home that you're going to get tomorrow maybe it's a home that you're going to get in twenty years. So to circumvent that what I encourage people to do when they are actually getting ready to pull pictures and really ask for what they want to manifest is that they put parameters around it. You decide that this vision board is going to be for one year. It's going to be for the next three hundred sixty five days, it's not going to be for the next five years, it's not going to be for the next ten years and the reason why it shouldn't be for the next ten years is for those of you who just hit your thirty's, is what you wanted in your twenty's what you want to your thirty's. For those of you or your fifty's, your forty's watching this is what you wanted in your forty's what you want to do your twenty's. No because what happens is as you gain more life experiences you begin to refine your vision that ultimate desire, that dream home never goes away but maybe in your twenty's in your dream home you wanted you know the bathrooms to be the most glorious because you were really into you know your make up and vanities or something like that, but then in your thirty's you started a company and your company took off and now in your dream home, you want your office to be the biggest space or maybe you have four kids and you want your kitchen and the family room to be the biggest space.

The idea is the vision is for a dream home but the specifics that you go after in the year shift, that is the reason why I encourage every single person who's going to do a vision board to do one every single year. It doesn't distract you from what you did the year before, it simply refines it so that you can get more clear and here's the thing the more clarity you get, the more focused you are and the more focus you have, the more magnetic power you have to actually attract the circumstances, the people, the things that you need to be able to manifest this life that you want. So that's the first thing is that you have to put a parameter around it, you have to make this vision board for the next three hundred sixty five days.
