Apologise! GC Alida Francis responds to shocking allegations by IC member Clyde van Putten

‘I recognise that emotions can sometimes run high during an election campaign. But this time Mr. van Putten has gone too far. He made a serious allegation in a personal attack which is as hurtful as it is meaningless and baseless. As leaders of our close-knit community, we all have a responsibility to build, not break down, to develop our island and its people, not destroy, to be level-headed, not loose with our language. I encourage Mr. van Putten to do the right thing: retract the statement and apologise.”
