COMPARING 3-D printers FDM vs SLA

Understanding the differences of the basic types of 3-D printers is necessary when you’re trying to figure out what to use to create your new widget. We've been using 3-D printers since their infancy. FDM machines are lower cost with less resolution but are very strong. SLA uses UV resin and has a phenomenal resolution. The resin tends to cost a little bit more and the parts are a bit smaller for the price of the machine. There’s also an odor with SLA so you might not not wanna have one sitting in your living room.
