Diktaion Andron The cave of Zeus in Lasithi, Crete

The cave of Zeus (Diktaion Andron) is one of the most beautiful and well maintained caves in Crete. It is located in the Lasithi plateau and it has an easy access (by car, on foot) to visitors. Melidoni cave is also another important cave as it is related to the recent war of independence (1821) in Greece.
