Wiley "backlash" Ravens beat Chiefs 36-35, Lamar Jackson is MVP | Speak For Yourself

Lamar Jackson accounted for 346 total yards and three touchdowns to lead the Baltimore Ravens to a 36-35 win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Jackson recorded his fourth career game of 200-plus yards passing and 100-plus yards rushing, the most in NFL history, and the Ravens (1-1) rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson entered Sunday's game 0-3 against the Chiefs in his NFL career.

"It feels good to get the monkey off our back," Jackson said.

The Chiefs were moving into position to take the lead in the final 3 1/2 minutes, but Clyde Edwards-Helaire fumbled on second-and-3 with 1:25 left and rookie Odafe Oweh recovered. Jackson converted a key fourth-and-1 with 1:05 left to keep the Chiefs from getting the ball back.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said there was never any doubt that he wanted Jackson to go for it on fourth-and-1. Harbaugh was seen asking Jackson if he wanted to go for it from the sidelines.

"Maybe I wanted to be sure myself," Harbaugh said. "I knew he was going to say yes. But we were going for it at that point."

Patrick Mahomes had 343 yards passing and three touchdowns for the Chiefs (1-1).
