Lasagna For Supper And To Freeze For Later
PLEASE NOTE: The lasagna was baked at 325 degrees for one and one half hours. At one hour both pans were topped with aluminum foil for the last 30 minutes to prevent the cheese on top from getting too brown.
This lasagna was for supper tonight and supper tomorrow night.
The extra pan was frozen for 2 more meals probably two weeks from today or later.
Here are the ingredients I used:
1/2 box of lasagna pasta, cooked al dente
1 1/2 pounds lean hamburger, cooked
2 cups chopped bell peppers
1 cup chopped onion, sauté with bell peppers
1 24 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce
1 cup pizza sauce for bottom of both pans (1/2 cup in the bottom of each pan)
2 cups cottage cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 large egg
onion powder
garlic powder
dried parsley
2 big handfuls of baby spinach
3 cups sliced mushroom
Thanks for watching.
