VLOG: We braved the rain (and MUD) in Storms River (and we loved it!)

Our plans included sunshine and smiles, so you can imagine waking up to the sound of torrential rain wasn't on our bucket list for the day...

Begrudgingly we got out of bed and drew back the curtains. It was a fact. The start of a rainy day.

*Sigh*

I could feel my lips start to clench as I fought my cheek muscles tugging for a smile. I spun around and there she was, smiling back at me already. Yes! Who cares!? We're in Storms River and it's going to be a heck of a day! So let's go!

Although our beaming positivity saved our first day (after a delightful fully-clothed shower due to quite the muddy quad biking adventure) I will relent and say that we are certainly glad it cleared up by the second day. I somehow doubt flying through the treetops with squinted eyes and the odd raindrop to the eyeball would have been as breathtaking as the freedom we enjoyed with our beautiful weather.
