Changing World Conversations: How to be a good ancestor

The climate crisis is creating a legacy which future generations will have to live with. How can we design cities, source energy, and tell stories with their needs in mind? Join Professor Suzanne Ewing (Chair of Architectural Criticism, Edinburgh College of Art), Professor David Farrier (Chair of Literature and the Environment, School of Literature, Languages and Cultures and author of Footprints: In search of Future Fossils) and Dr Laura Watts (School of GeoSciences and author of Energy at the End of the World) to explore what philosopher Roman Krznaric has called the most important question of our time: are we being good ancestors?

This conversation was inspired by philosopher Roman Krznaric's book The Good Ancestor (https://www.ted.com/talks/roman_krznaric_how_to_be_a_good_ancestor) and specifically the chapter, The Legacies We Leave (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8i9f1UdvohE&t=165s).
