Hello everybody and welcome to the fifth round of the 1994 season, for the Spanish Grand Prix, here on F1 Challenge. We head to the Catalunya circuit today, a track that is quickly growing a reputation for showing a car’s true pace, with it often being used as a testing facility for many teams.

Going into this round, Damon Hill holds a 10-point margin, following back-to-back victories. His closest Championship rivals, Schumacher and Berger, will look to get back on level terms with the Briton. Meanwhile, for us, no points in the past 2 rounds, as well as our first retirement of the season means we have fallen to 11th in the Drivers’ Standings.

It’s hotting up in the Constructors’, with the three runaway leaders, Williams, Benetton and Ferrari all separated by 4 points. Following first podiums of the season for Ligier and Lotus last time out, Sauber are in 8th position.
