Steam Engine Cab Ride!

Here we have a cab ride on the oldest regularly operating steam locomotive in the United States. Calumet and Torch Lake #3 is a Mason Machine works 0-6-4T Mason Bogie Type locomotive. This locomotive is one of only 2 Mason Machine works locomotives that is preserved, and is the only operating Mason locomotive. This engine runs at the Greenfield Village in Dearborn Michigan. I was able to get my insta360 spherical camera suctioned to the window inside the cab, and edited the video to be just one angle for this project (I will be uploading the 360 version in the near future).

Please note this railroad does not fall under FRA jurisdiction, however they base their rule book on FRA rules adapted to their period based operations. They have block signaling system which they also follow. Sections of audio where crew names were said were edited out per request of the crew.
