Dear Mom...

This video is from a side of us you’ve never seen. It’s raw, it’s emotional and it’s from the heart. This was a very difficult story for me to tell, I’ve always wanted to keep my mother’s death a secret, so people wouldn’t see her as a bad person, or me as a bad daughter. I realize now that, it would have been selfish of me. We want this story to not only help those in need, those who suffer from depression, those who fight this battle daily. We want this story to flip a switch in the heads of those who don’t suffer from depression. If someone you know or love or even acquaint yourself with is going through something, talk to them. It takes a few words, a hug, even a smile to prevent someone from taking their own life.
