Conference of the Birds, a film by Ayten Mutlu Saray

At the core of the story is the seeker.
He asks, he is inquisitive, impatient and cheeky.
To become himself he must achieve the presence, the
presence of simple humble existence.
The question is not from where and why he comes, but
what he seeks?

What is he searching for?
Searching as the aim of existence.

Conference of the Birds tells the journey of 30 birds
in search of the God bird Simurgh. Only a few make it
to the end of the long and arduous path through seven
valleys.
Finally reaching the end, they face not Simurgh but
rather the images of their former selves.
