Introduction to Using Mason Stains with Vitreous Enamel

Although I consider myself an intermediate enamel artist, I am an advanced beginner with the use of Mason Stains. In this video, I am showing one way to use them: as 'ink' in a crow quill pen. I also share the differences between Mason Stains and products like Sunshine painting enamels and Thompson Over Glaze enamels. Using ceramic pigments like Mason Stains is a great way to supplement your vitreous enamel techniques. I highly recommend taking a class to learn more (in other words, I cannot answer questions beyond what I share in this video - I am a beginner, too :)
