Two More Reasons to use NINA's Hocus Focus Plugin for Astrophotography
The rabbit hole strikes again! I kept seeing repeated autofocus runs because the NINA hyperbolic curve fits were not good enough based on the R^2 value I set. Yet, my analysis says they were! What gives? We take a look at hyperbolic curve models and fitting and compare NINA with my results. Turns out that Hocus Focus eliminates the two issues I was running into using NINA's standard autofocus routine. Let's all get onboard the Hocus Focus train!
