"Open the window and let the weather come in", believes Samir Modi, as he talks about Infinite opportunities that one can explore once they open the windows of their mind. Irrespective of all the hardships that came his way, what remained constant was his ability to see the positive in every challenge, and that is the biggest lesson one can take from his talk. Samir Modi is an intuitive entrepreneur constantly striving to introduce new & radical ideas, and transform lives. He is also the MD of Modi Enterprises, founded in 1933 by his grandfather Rai Bahadur Gujarmal Modi. He is strongly driven by his personal philosophy of “Soch Badlo, Khudko Badlo, Duniya Badlo” which remains instrumental in his success as a visionary and a thought leader.
He believes in ‘Meraki’ a Greek expression that means, ‘put something of yourself in your work’ which is ‘whatever you do, do it with love and creativity.’
He has successfully launched India’s first Direct Selling Company, Modicare in 1996. He is also the founder of Colorbar Cosmetics, one of the leading beauty brands in India, and 24Seven Convenience Stores, India’s first-of-its-kind, round the clock retail chain for contemporary consumers. Also, continuing with his family’s philanthropic legacy, he set up the Modicare Foundation in 1996.
