Strategic Committee of Consultants of the IE Diploma in Strategic Interior Design

In the Diploma of Strategic Interior Design at IE University, besides the professors that have specific subjects, we have a committee of consultants who are specialists in some kind of sector that will be available on demand for the students. This is an outstanding asset of the program where students can go beyond the topics addressed in their mandatory course modules to explore additional sectors of interest to them, resulting as well as an incredible network of international contacts of great value.

Our expert consultants include Raphael Gielgen, trend scout for Vitra and specialist in the future of work; Diego Gronda, former creative director of Rockwell and now head of his own hospitality company, Studio Gronda; and Andrea Caruso, an award-winning retail designer and co-founder of Ciszak Dalmas Design Studio amongst others.

The Strategic Committee of Consultants is a group of subject-matter experts with experience across a range of sectors, including retail, learning environments, healthcare, workplaces and hospitality. They have transversal skill sets and knowledge in sustainable materials, well-being and mental health, cost management, project management and digital transformation. What’s more, they are available to help and guide students throughout their time at IE School of Architecture and Design.

At present, the Committee is composed of 12 subject-matter experts, a number which is expected to grow in the future.
