Moving your horses feet and establishing your place in the herd is important, but doubly important at feeding time. Horses tend to anticipate, and get pushy when they know a meal is coming. This is a habit that is always there, whether we know it or not so we try to continually tune for a more positive behavior. This few extra minutes of work in the morning makes for better control at other times..... leading, groundwork and riding.
