Uvex S8510 Bionic Shield Anti-Fog/Hardcoat Review

Hi guys, this is an unpaid review of the Uvex S8510 Bionic Anti-Fog/Hardcoat Shield.
This face shield is meant to be a secondary level of protection and you should still wear another form of protection underneath. I will be using mine with a face mask and googles. for this review

The product is very light as it is mostly made of plastic. The headgear was somewhat intimidating at first but once you figure out how to adjust the headset it's fairly simple.
The directions were very thorough but at the same time quite confusing. I felt really intimidated by the complexity of the headgear. I wish there was a step by step with photo to explain how to assemble. Perhaps a quick step manual for dummies like me. I got most of the knowledge of how to use the headgear from watching other reviews. Real Tool Reviews was very helpful (Please see his review link below if you need more info)

Design - 10 out 10
+ Exactly as advertised
+ Simple straight forward design
- Instruction manual does not really help (could clarify a little better)

Quality - 8 out of 10
+ 3 defects that my eye can see (not flush, plastic stuck out)
- The tabs on the inside seemed to have weakened as I attempted to connect the visor to the headset. Hopefully the do not break.

Price - $95 for 3 set so $32 ish per mask
There are many offers online but most price range was $50+
Since this is PPE, I thought it would be a great investment therefore I decided to buy the pack and save some money.

Favorite part of the Product:
It would be the design. The product's design is very Space/Alien/hazmat suit kind of design. I love how it looks and feels on my head; it is very confortable. It is also very light so no strain on the neck. You are still able to hear other people speak with the visor down. It offers a wide area of protection.

Least favorite part of the Product:
It would probably be the sound of my voice when the visor is down. Unfortunately, this is a curved wall very close to your face therefore if you speak with the visor down you will get a lot of feedback. This will happen no matter what face shield you choose though so I just accepted it.
