Ahhhhhh. In my wildest dreams I didn't expect a Romgess kiss this soon. My heart and brain exploded and I'm dead. I'm dead, but I'm still alive enough to make this and post it. I think? Anyway, I've had some eager subscribers rabidly waiting for this video, so hopefully I did the KISS justice. GUYS THEY KISSED. Gracious, I can't believe it. When I started shipping them last season I was half-afraid they would never be canon, but THEY ARE CANON. This is not a drill. I so desperately needed something happy to happen on one of my shows after losing Charles Vane. And Derek Morgan. And Lincoln. And maybe a favorite on TWD. AND ROMGESS KISSED!

I can't wait to see the awkward angst between them in the next episodes and I just pray that the writers don't rush through their time together. Roman is such a sweetheart and the fact that Burgess was the one to initiate the kiss and start to fall for him just made me go heart-eyes all over the place.
The unfortunate part of this episode is that it solidified my growing dislike for Ruzek. I'm so sad, because in Season 1 he was the goofy, likable guy. And I loved him. Now? He's some caveman jerk who treats Burgess like his property. Yes, I get jealousy. I GET IT. And to be clear, I don't want to hate Ruzek. I want to like him. But, the "Ugh, ugh...you now have my permission to date my ex..."??? Really? He drove Burgess to break off the engagement by acting like a child and taking her for granted. He made her feel guilty post-breakup by dumping his emotional constipation and "I'm not fine. ..I'm terrible" on her while she was trying to be professional. Maybe he's striking such a negative chord with me because of some of my personal experience with similar humans...but ick. He's seriously bothering me...BUT NONE OF THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE ROMGESS KISSED.

Ok...done yelling my enthusiasm into your faces. For this evening at least. Thanks for watching and keep an eye out for some interesting projects on the horizon. xoxoxoxoxoxo
