What's up everyone, Patrick here and in today's video, I'll show you how to use Express VPN on your Android phone. Now ExpressVPN is one of the top available VPN services today. And VPN just stands for virtual private network. And it's a service that allows you to remain anonymous and secure while browsing online. And since more and more internet traffic is being done on our phones, it is more important than ever to have something that allows you to remain protected on your mobile device. And that's where Express VPN comes into play. Not only are they available on Mac, and Windows computers, but also iPhone, Android, and even some game consoles. But today's video is all about ExpressVPN for Android, and I'll include a link down in the description below so you can follow along.Now opening it up, we can see it in the Google Play Store, you can already tell that this is a great VPN service because it has over 4.4 star rating and over 10 million people have downloaded it. And that's what we'll do right now you'll go ahead and click that Install button and it will now start downloading the app to your phone. And when it's done, it will automatically install. Now once Express is on your phone and installed, you can go ahead and hit the Open button. And you'll be greeted by the login window. And this simply allows you to connect automatically to the best recommended server because by default auto Connect is on. So the service is going to connect you to the best possible server for your connection. And all you have to do is tap on that power button again, and you will disconnect from that server. Now let's click on the hamburger menu at the top left to open up all of our different options and then hitting the Settings button that little gear icon to open all of our VPN settings specifically now the top setting is auto Connect, which simply allows us to automatically connect to the last VPN that we used. By default this is off, you can turn it on and off by simply hitting the toggle. Now going back into the settings and clicking on network protection. This just means that whenever your VPN gets disconnected, it will disconnect you from Wi Fi to make sure that you don't accidentally start browsing without your VPN active, which is a nice security feature. Now jumping into the split tunneling feature that just gives you control over the different apps that can connect to the VPN service. And by default, all of your apps that connect to the internet will do so through your VPN app unless you change it here. Now a VPN protocol is just how you connect to these VPN servers.
