S&W Model 69 .44Mag - Critical Failure Update

My new S&W Model 69 had a complete failure on the 3rd round fired through it.
I was using factory PMC 240gr Copper Jacketed rounds.

It was stripping small amounts of the jacket from the bullet, as it passed from the cylinder to the barrel. On the third shot, a larger chunk of copper stripped off, and wedged between the top-strap and the forcing cone/chamber. This caused the revolver to completely lock up. The cylinder was frozen, and the hammer and trigger were locked as well. I explain this in the video and give an update on the repair job.

This is why it is CRITICAL to run a few boxes of ammo through any gun you may have to use to save your life. If I had this in the woods, and a bear or cougar was attacking, I would effectively have had a hammer to use against them. (and I am too old and too fat to run from them!)
