Red Fox is screaming, grumbling, and creaking. What's happening?

I found some information about the fox sounds on the Internet. The cries of the red fox can sound surprisingly similar to a human in distress. Males give a short "scream" in aggression.

I'm surprised. It's totally out of Alfie. He's a cute and friendly boy.
It seems to me that my fox feels like a real predator with his new toy.
And he's actually disappointed with this stuffed squirrel. He sounds like an old grouch.

Some information about this fox... I rescued Alf the Fox from a fur farm. He's not wild.
He has a unique color type of the fur coat called "ognevka" from the Russian word, which translates as "fire". So, he is a REAL FIRE fox.
