„Уйди !" (Get Out !) - Рада Волшанинова (Rada Volshaninova)

Old Russian-Gypsy romance „Уйди !" (Get out !) says how opposite feelings may be close to each other and how they can be equally passionate: love and hate, adoration and aversion, hope and disappointment. We hear here that such exclamations as 'Get Out !' and 'Come Back !', may be expressed interchangeably, if not even simultaneously... -

Rada Volshaninova was born in Moscow in 1936. Honored Artist of Russia (1995). The exquisite performer of Gypsy songs and dances. She was graduated from high school, enrolled in drama school, but did not pass the entrance exams. She worked as a proofreader in a publishing house. Since 1955 - a soloist of the ensemble Gypsy Ryazan Philharmonic. From 1960 -- actress of the "Romain" theatre. She has performed in a duo with guitarist Nicholas Volshaninov. In 1982-1999, the soloist of Mosconcert.
Rada Volshaninova is one of the few remaining Russian-Romany performers that possess the essence of real Russian-Romany culture. Miss Volshaninova is retired and currently lives in Miami, FL.
