Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed helped to shape Dubai's vision for the future - during a visit to one of the emirate's most hotly-anticipated attractions.

The Crown Prince of Dubai enjoyed a tour of the rapidly-developing site of the Museum of the Future as he led a high-level meeting at the venue.

The Dh500 million facility, which will be home to a research centre with labs and classrooms as well as a sprawling space for museum-goers to experience new technologies, is due to swing open its doors this year.

Sheikh Hamdan said the museum will 'open up a window to tomorrow' and will be a global tourist attraction.
