How To Plant a Small Garden

How to plant a simple garden.

No matter where I've lived I have always had a springtime garden.
If you can't plant in the ground, use containers and place it on your patio, a balcony or in your southern facing window. If you have at least a 4 by 4 foot piece of ground available, then you could have an earth bed. Make a trench of about 3 inches width x depth around the 4X4 area, turn the ground with a shovel, add a bag or two of garden soil and there you have an easy planting bed. In this video I talk about the importance of companion plants for tomatoes. Just remember to plant what you like to eat.
