My gaming rig is still an Xbox 360 but in a PC case.

When 12volt fan mods just don't cut it for you, this could be an option: putting your beloved Xbox 360 into a more spacious area and flipping the fan around so its directly cooling the heat sink.
This is how I'm prolonging the life of one of the best consoles ever
made.
