Gustav Klimt Exhibition in Paris

Brilliant!
I was immersed in an exhibition in Paris' first digital art center, the Atelier des Lumières! Typically art is static, the viewer quietly stands and observes. This experience was completely different. Over 120 video projectors beam artwork onto black walls and a plain cement floor in a huge building that holds several hundred people. Viewers are completely surrounded by music, and the images are on every wall and the floor. It felt like being inside a spectacular kaleidoscope! The visual feast features work of Gustav Klimt, who was a figurehead of the Viennese art scene. Two other artists are also represented.
