My Beautiful & Organized (& Budget!) Craft Room / Studio Tour

I love this room so much. It’s everything I dreamt it would be. Yeah, I know that’s an awful cliche, but damn it, it’s true! 😂 Yes, my room is extremely neat and organized. I have to keep it neat because it's so small but really, it's because I feel much less creative when I'm surrounded by stuff and feel really frustrated when I can't find something I'm looking for. I know that many creatives thrive when they're surrounded by their things but that is definitely not me. I'm also a natural organizer, I truly love doing it.

I love that my room is part vintage and part new because that's exactly the type of journals I love to create. I also love that I was able to spend so little money on my furniture. The combined total for the furniture is $415 and that's including the tax I paid on the Kallax unit (the only new piece in the room). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

The biggest splurges in terms of organizing were the We R Memory Keepers Stackable Paper Trays and the four Cropper Hopper 12x12 paper holders (the rest of the holders I already had from my scrapbooking days) even though they were half off on scrapbooking.com. Those suckers are expensive. Everything else were items I already had, items I bought 50% off at Michaels or serious bargains from various estate sales. I also used the resale app OfferUp.

My biggest tip to anyone looking to create a beautiful craft room on a budget? BE PATIENT, know what you want and what you need by using the space first (I had a studio set up in the garage for over a year before moving into this room so I knew exactly what I needed and wanted and that's half the battle). I also watched A TON of craft room tours here on YouTube and that was also incredibly helpful.
