Explaining the Housing Shortage | The Agenda

Home prices rose sharply in the past few years in many parts of Ontario, and across the country. It prompted all the parties in this year's election campaigg to put forward ideas for dealing with what is routinely called a housing shortage. And, as it turns out, it's not just a problem here. With us to explain what's going on: Jenny Schuetz, senior fellow in the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution's Future of the Middle Class Initiative; and Mike Moffatt, senior director at the Smart Prosperity Institute think tank and an assistant professor at Western University's Ivey Business School.
