Canadas Best Campsite | Drivint the Icefields Parkway Jasper to Banff

Heading towards the BC Alberta border our time comes to an end in British Columbia and we begin our next adventure in a new province this week - Alberta!

We found Canadas best campsite along the way! This incredible sandy beach sitting right on a beaitful lake left us wanting to stay here for weeks. But on wards we went towards Jasper National Park for a quick visit in the area and then we headed down Highway 93 aka the Icefields Parkway.

The Icefields Parkway is one of the most beautiful drives in the world and it is easy to see why. Winding through the mountain ranges, passing glaciers, waterfalls, multiple lakes, hikes and so much more you could easily spend days here and not see it all. Some of the top attractions along the route are Athabasca Falls, Sunwapta Falls, Peyto Lake, Columbia Icefield and more! This beautiful drive takes about 3-3.5 hours in good weather, but plan for lots of stops along the way.

Our final destination for this week was Banff and the surrounding area to enjoy our final few days in the mountains before we continue to head east back to Ontario.
