Chili paneer is a popular Indo Chinese recipe. Paneer cubes are coated in batter and fried. These are then cooked in spicy Chinese sauce. It goes well with noodles or fried rice. This can be a good starter option. You can make it dry, semi dry or in gravy. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1/4 cup Maida
• 1/4 cup Corn flour
• 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Water
• 250 grams Paneer cubes
• Oil for frying
• 2 tsp Oil
• 1 tbsp finely chopped Garlic
• 1 tbsp finely chopped Ginger
• 1 tbsp finely chopped Onion
• Green chilies
• 2 tbsp Onion cubes
• 2 tbsp Capsicum chopped into big chunks
• 1 tsp Black pepper powder
• 1 tsp Soya sauce
• 1 tsp Tomato sauce
• 1 tsp Red chili sauce
• 1 tbsp Corn flour
• 3~4 tsp Water
• Lemon juice
• Finely chopped Spring onion

Method:
• Take maida in a bowl and add corn flour, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, salt.
• Mix everything well together and add a little water at a time to make thick batter.
• Paneer gets good coating due to thick batter.
• Rest the batter for about 10 minutes.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Mix the batter well once and drop the paneer cubes into it.
• Coat the paneer cubes well with batter and drop them into hot oil.
• Drop the cubes into hot oil and fry well until nice and crispy from both sides.
• When paneer is fried well take them out, drain excess oil and transfer on a tissue paper.
• Heat up oil on high heat in a pan.
• When oil is hot enough add garlic, ginger and fry for just 30 seconds.
• Add onion, green chilies and fry for just 30-40 seconds.
• Add onion cubes, capsicum and fry for just 1 minute. Veggies should not lose their crunch.
• You can use different colored capsicum if you want.
• Add black pepper powder, soya sauce, tomato sauce, red chili sauce and mix well.
• Take corn flour in a bowl and add water.
• Mix well to make slurry. No lumps of corn flour should be formed.
• Add this slurry into the veggies and mix quickly.
• Sauce is ready.
• Add lemon juice and mix well.
• You can use vinegar in place of lemon juice.
• Add fried paneer and mix well.
• Chili paneer is all ready.
• Sprinkle spring onion.
