FIRST DRIVE SINCE 1976 - Test Driving My 1968 Plymouth Satellite

The day is finally here! Time to take my ratty 1968 Plymouth Satellite for a ride around the block. This day has been in works since last summer! Over the last 8 months I have been picking away at getting the car put back together for daily service. It's all together and we go for a quick "ride around the block" before going in for a safety inspection. A safety inspection is needed in Manitoba before any car can be plated and allowed on the roads.

The background on this car: The original owner blew up the trans in 1976 with 89 000 original miles on the clock. Now at the time this was just a base model satellite with a 318/automatic so it got pushed off to the side. As time went on the car slowly deteriorated until the summer of 2020.

Wish me luck that all goes smooth and we can go for a proper drive in this old hotrod.
