"Still Life" (Demon) by Empika | Geometry Dash 2.11

Wow. This is the coolest level I've seen in a while. It's not often you see a creator as unknown as Empika release a level as unique as this with such good execution. A lot of the designs and backgrounds consist of handmade line art, which make for a perfect blend. These pulse in interesting colors to the song, made by fellow creator JamAttack, which gives it another level of immersion. The animations for some of the art, such as the spikes and the background towers at 0:54 remind me of Kidsmoke. Overall, this does have a similar vibe to that, at least stylistically, but I like how much more colorful this is. Another thing that makes this unique is the gameplay. When playing, I didn't really notice at first, but the level is only mini cube, and it doesn't even have one orb or portal. It's almost only jumping over spikes, with a few exceptions where you jump onto higher platforms. The visuals and atmosphere are so captivating that you don't really notice at first, at least it was like that for me. 1:11 is the highlight of the level, featuring really good usage of the infamous parallax effect. This is also the hardest part of the level, which makes it worthy of an Easy Demon rating in my opinion. Some of the obstacles can be a bit hard to read with the effect. All in all, this has to get an Epic rating.
