Alaskan Cruise 2022

This was a 7 day Inside Passage of Alaska cruise July 10-17, 2022 on the MS Westerdam round trip from Seattle. We stayed in a Signature Suite with a large balcony. Deck blankets were stored in our room to warm us when we sat on the deck chairs. We spent a day in Juneau and visited the Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls, then went to the Hubbard Glacier where one of the azipods (one of two which propel the ship) failed and our trip was modified to a short day in Sitka and no port stops for Ketchikan nor Victoria, BC. In Sitka, we enjoyed a locals' presentation of the story of Alaska and it's sale from Russia to the U.S. in 1867. Generally the days were in the low 50's F., cloudy and rainy.
