🏗️ HOW TO DESIGN BEAM SIZE? 📐

A properly sized beam is essential for the strength, stability, and safety of any structure.

✅ Beam Depth (D) = Span ÷ 12 to Span ÷ 15

✅ Beam Width (B) = Depth ÷ 1.5 to Depth ÷ 2

📌 Example: For a 6 m span beam: • Depth = 400–500 mm • Width = 230–300 mm

⚠️ These are thumb rules for preliminary sizing only. Final dimensions should always be verified through structural design.
