Geoffrey Cox tells MPs: 'This parliament is dead'

Geoffrey Cox, the attorney general, launched a furious attack on opposition MPs in the House of Commons, saying parliament was 'dead' and had 'no moral right to sit'. He sparked uproar when he said the only aim of some MPs was to prevent Brexit. He said the UK's departure from the EU could not be postponed indefinitely and 'even these turkeys won't be able to prevent Christmas'
