mallorca taught me how to slow down 🌿 if you’re planning a trip soon, here’s everything i wish someone told me before i went. rent a car because the buses and taxis will test your patience, and book your dinner reservations about a month out so you’re not scrambling day of. if you’re driving up to deià or valldemossa, take it slow on those winding hilly roads and stick to daytime drives. don’t just stay in palma either. if you have more than 5 days split your time between the north and the south. we based ourselves in sóller and loved it. the north has those dreamy mountains and rocky cove beaches while the south brings the sandy beach energy. skip magaluf unless partying is your whole vibe, and please opt for a finca over a hotel. only 10 to 12 rooms, attentive staff, and you actually get a feel for the island 🤎
