Vessel carrying 20,000 tonnes of LPG reaches Gujarat after crossing Strait of Hormuz

Amid rising tensions in West Asia, a vessel carrying 20,000 metric tonnes of LPG has reached Gujarat after crossing the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Officials said the Marshall Islands-flagged MV SYMI sailed from Qatar and docked at Kandla on May 16, even as shipping movement in the region remains disrupted due to the ongoing conflict.
