When I was on deployment helping fight the Lake Christine Fire my Droid Turbo 2 started to malfunction and started to reboot and also it randomly crashed, then it quit booting after several days. I noticed the back of the phone was puffed out, indicating to me that the Lithium battery had failed so I ordered a new battery kit with tools. In this video I tear down the phone and replace the battery. I sped the video 150% so that you can see what I did and I also super sped the part where I remove the adhesives from the phone by 500%. I watched a few videos on this procedure and could not understand why they were removing the motherboard from the phone in those videos, removing the motherboard along with all of the sensors speakers, microphones, etc.. just increases the chance that the phone will not work when you are done, so I do not remove the motherboard and only take the phone down to where I needed to get to the battery. I have been using the phone all day today after this repair and I am so happy I was able to repair it. I am also so happy that I do not have to buy another phone. I am very disappointed in the quality of the battery that Motorola put in this phone, this phone is not even two years old. During the video I mask the screen after the phone boots since I have the emergency contact information on my lock screen....
