Old version 12V Impact Driver Restoration | Dewalt DW052-JP TYPE1

I found this impact driver from Japan recycle shop for 15$. This is old model DeWALT impact driver, used in Japan. This tool is obsolete because it runs on old Nimh batteries while new tool with li-ion battery pack. I bought it to restore and want to know its quality. All that needs to be done is to clean the internal parts, put in new grease, and especially make a new battery with lithium that has the same power as the old one. The new battery pack is 12.6V 6.4Ah.
