Statistics suggest that family wealth often battles to transfer beyond the third generation. This happens as families become far to accustomed to a high standard of living and they neglect to be economically active. A contributing factor to this could be an unreasonable standard of living, relative to the asset base brought on by a false sense of the value of money.
