Post Office 'prioritised brand over lives', hearing told

A former senior Post Office executive has denied putting the firm's reputation before the welfare of staff.

Angela van den Bogerd admitted one of the company's first reactions to finding out a sub-postmaster had taken his own life was hiring a media lawyer.

Martin Griffiths died in 2013 after being pursued for £100,000.

She was giving evidence to the Horizon inquiry.
